On the day of arrival, the rooms are ready for occupancy from 3:00 pm at the latest. We are pleased to allocate available rooms sooner. If you urgently need a room for an early arrival, please book the room one night before your arrival.

Your room is at your disposal until 10:00 am on the day of departure. At this time your room key will become invalid.

There is a luggage room in the convent building opposite the Café Kunstsommer. If you need help with your luggage, please ask the reception.

Yes, it is located on the right side immediately after the entrance to the education centre car park.

Insert the plastic key into the key reader on the right or left of the room door and turn it about 90° to the right.

The breakfast buffet is at your disposal from 7:00 am to 9:00 am in the restaurant (level 0 of the convent building).

There is no minibar in the guest room. You can buy beverages in the restaurant and in the monastery cellar. If both restaurants are closed, a selection of cold beverages is also available at the reception.

For hygiene reasons, only certified assistance dogs are allowed. Please provide notification when you make your booking.
For a dog we charge a fee of € 15,00 per day.

The reception, restaurant, monastery cellar and orangery accept EC card, Amex, Visa, Mastercard and major debit cards.

As a conference guest at the Swabian Education Centre, you generally eat from the buffet.
A seat in our restaurant is already reserved for you.

In the neighbouring „Irseer Klosterbräu“ you can dine à la carte as a private guest and also reserve a table. Please note that the Klosterbräu is not part of the Swabian Education Centre.

The sauna is open by pre-registration (30-minute warm-up time) from 5:00 pm until 11:00 pm. Sauna towels are provided for you there. You can obtain a bathrobe and slippers (stating your room number and against signature) at the reception. On departure, please leave the bathrobe in your room.

In every room: in the wardrobe in the convent building; in the bathroom in the cooperage and studio building.

If you like a bath seat in your room, please contact the reception.

All rooms in the studio building and cooperage have parquet flooring and are equipped with allergy beds. In the convent building, please ask for an allergy bed at the reception.

A common selection is available at the reception.

At park exit no. 17 on level 0 in the convent building and in the cooperage on level -1.

A sheltered smoking area is located in the arcade in the Prelate garden (access in the east wing via the glass lift or park exit no. 17).

Our cosy monastery cellar with knight’s parlour is usually open daily from 6:00 pm until 0:30 am. Otherwise, a selection of cold beverages is available for purchase at the reception.

In our Business Corner (room 5, ground floor in the convent building) you will find a colour photocopier with scanner (against payment).     

At the reception you can buy books and CDs, beer carriers, aroma pendants, liqueur, sparkling wine and house wine as well as other beverages.

An ergometer and various dumbbells are available in front of the sauna on level -1 of the convent building. Next to the monastery cellar there is a leisure room with pool table, table tennis, darts and table football.

There are stores in Kaufbeuren, where you can rent sports equipment. For further information, please contact the reception.

In our Freiraum opposite the sauna on level -1 in the convent building, with  relaxation loungers, meditation cushions, blankets and a stereo system.

In the natural swimming lake “Oggenrieder Weiher”, only 10 minutes footwalk away.

The Irsee Art & Culture Trail (Irseer Kunst & Kultur Pfad) tells you all about the village of Irsee and takes about an hour to complete. The hiking guide “Irsee on foot” (Irsee zu Fuß) is available at the reception for € 5.00.
