The Swabian Conference and Education Centre is a cultural institution of the State parliament of Swabia and bound by tradition to the former "free imperial abbey" up to the present day. In order to mediate the Convent's high level standard of the spiritual choral works of its Musical Prior, the latest record was produced in cooperation with the Bayerischer Rundfunk in celebration of the 250. anniversary of Father Meinrad Spieß.

to the magnificent baroque complex of the Irsee Monastery! As a modern conference hotel, the conference and education centre of the region of Swabia is a forum for economic, academic, political and cultural communication of supra-regional significance.

Whether it is for conferences or seminars, parties or gatherings, Irsee Monastery offers 61 single and 20 double rooms in addition to 15 largely historic meeting rooms. Our primary expertise is arranging specialist meetings, gastronomy and varied banqueting opportunities for up to 200 people.

First rate service guarantees the sustained success of your meetings – something we consistently evaluate on an external basis: in 2008 we were awarded the Bayerisches Umweltsiegel für das Gastgewerbe (Bavarian eco-label for the hospitality industry in gold), in 2009 we were awarded the Premium-Zertifizierung der Deutschen Gesellschaft zur Förderung und Entwicklung des Seminar- und Tagungswesens (premium certification of the German Society for the Promotion and Development of Seminars and Meetings). Since 2010, according to the opinion of an independent expert team, we have fulfilled the requirements of the 'GipfelTreffen' seal of quality of Bayern Tourismus Marketing GmbH, and since 2011 we have belonged to the select circle of 'AllgäuTopHotels' (top hotels in the Allgäu region). As a member of the Europäische Metropolregion München (European Metropolitan Region of Munich), we have partnerships both with world market leaders and the hidden champions of a prosperous economic and cultural region. The business friendly orientation of our service offering has been certified by 'ServiceQualität Deutschland' (certification for excellent service in Germany). The Schwabenakademie (Swabian Academy) and the Bildungswerk der bayerischen Bezirke (Training Institute of the Bavarian Districts) represent the additional, attractive cultural and training offerings available at Irsee Monastery.

As an institution of the region of Swabia we also attach considerable value to our social orientation. In this context we are members of the Umweltpakt Bayern (Environment Pact of Bavaria) and work hard towards the accessibility standard. One eye catching testimony to this is a bronze scale-model of the baroque, monastery complex, which makes orientation to our beautiful baroque complex even easier to all visitors.
