Monastery park with orangery
In historic etchings of the monastery one finds a garden building as a place used to enclose plants during the winter months such as citrus fruits, oleander and laurel. This forms today's orangery. The ancient trees of the monastery park invite one for a comfortable rest or private talk in the first warm days of Spring.
The monastery garden in front of the orangery is a stylish alternative offered by Monastery Irsee for culinary service for conference coffee breaks, receptions, and even a rustic barbecue.
