Educational and cultural centre Monastery Irsee

"Irsee is the first monastery in our area where profound learning started to bloom."This was written in the middle of the 18th century by the founder of the "Churbayerischen Akademie der Wissenschaften". We are now pleased that our Conference and Education Centre has become a place for guests and conference participants from economy and politics, alliances and universities to meet and interact over topics such as history, literature, philosophy and psychology, as well as contemporary art and music.

The Schwabenakademie Irsee, Schwäbische Kunstsommer, the literature contest "Irseer Pegasus", "Pomona"-Akademie as well as the Bildungswerk of the Union of the Bavarian Districts have found their home in the Monastery Irsee and contribute to the wide range of educational and cultural events over the year and to the special flair of our house.
